Where are you hooking your gauges into on the LT1?
Re: Where are you hooking your gauges into on the LT1?
For the coolant temp sensor, there is a plugged hole in the passenger side head, between #6/#8... essentially the same plug that's on the drivers side for the stock gauge sensor.
For oil pressure, the 94 and up people will generally use the port in the drivers side of the block right above the oil filter. For the 93 (and very early 94) people, that port already has the stock sending unit in it. With your 93, you could put a "tee" in that port and connect both sensors, or put the new sensor in the hole on the top of the block, right behind the intake manifold, that the 94 and up cars use for the stock sensor.

Funny, I dont have either sensors in those ports. I just plugged them since i have no factory gauges. so i will just plug into those. Thanks injuneer. But then again maybe i want to keep that cheap nylon tubing away from the exhaust and use the port behind the intake manifold since its easier to acess for me.
