I see that you dont have headers? If you dont have headers i would just leave it alone till you get them and take it out at that point. AIR is for emissions purposes.
If you wanna take the pump out you have to take the hoses off that connect to your manifolds and plug those with caps (im not sure on the cap sizes though) your car will also through a code with the pump takin off.

i aint worried about the code...the check engine light has been on for 6 months now.. some transmission code? maybe thats why it burned up again...anyway i have the transmission out right now being rebuilt and im waiting to get it back and just trying to find little stuff to do to it to make it faster.

Re: where is the smog pump?
get rid of the hypertech junk. seems to be the general consesus on this board. search and ye shall find. get a quality tune from madz28. it looks like you have done all the "easy" stuff. now is the time to open the wallet and make changes.

Re: where is the smog pump?
yeah im pissed at the fact that i spent $350 on that hypertech programmer and i took my car to the track and ran a 9.3 with the tuning and a 9.0 with the stock tuning!! my r/t was almost the same both times too..but atleast my car doesnt cut out at 117 anymore...itll bury the needle with 155 on the dash
