the best way to look for a leak is run the car, let it sit and when it is cool enough to the touch, start feeling all around starting at the highest point with components that use gaskets and/or sealant.
More than likely that leak is coming from the back of the intake. Feel around the back of the intake and see.

thats odd because this is a new motor new felpro seals ex.. hmmm could still be possible i guess ill wipe everything down and check again could it be comming from my valve cover breather?

Just start feeling around the back of the block where the intake meets the block and see if it's wet w/ oil. If it is then most likely that's your source. Also check the back of the clylinder heads just below where the valve cover meets the head. If it's wet there that could also be either a primary or secondary source.

i would have to agree with bingo, check the dipstick tube where it goes into the block. had the same problem with mine and some rtv silicone fixed it right up. also the back of the intake was a b!tch to seal up for me, it took me 3 tries to get it right and so far so good. good luck.

ok well im pretty sure i sealed up the dip stick tube with rtv iv posted some more pics of the leak because i cannot seem to find it could it possibly be shooting out of my (dont laugh) valve cover breather? iv installed one because the baffle was removed so i ordered new lt4 valve covers and going to put pcv system back on if you look closely you can see oil on the plug wires and some of the harnesses

You don't have the PCV valve systen on the car?If not that's your problem,it is spuing oil out the crank case breather. The PCV valve stands for Positive Crankcase Ventelation and with out it the presure from the pistons going down has no where to go but out the crank case breather(along with OIL).Good Luck!!!

Is it wet around the breather? That would tell you if it is coming from there or not. Honestly, it looks like you missed the oil filler tube when you filled the car up will oil. It looks too clean to have come from inside the engine.

*update* Leak still remains heres what i did so far rtv'd the dip stick tube to the block, bought the lt4 valve covers and put the pcv system back on to eliminate the breather and the leak is still there and cannot figure out where its comming from any ideas?
