I haven't been a member for very long. Going to fuel injection after carburetors was a challenge and I learned alot from my mistakes with this car, but , over the last year I've really become hooked on the site . I'm impressed with the help and knowledge the members give and hope it stays strong. LF

In the area I live I am the only performance LT1 car around. There are a lot of camaros and other muscle cars, but no LT1's. I enjoy my car but I am also like most LT1 owners. I really would like a LS engine. I am not much of a fan of the 98-02 looks (Front bumper and Interior) I prefer 93-97 looks (With a 98-02 hood and spoiler), but I would rather have a LS engine where my LT1 engine hangs out, and one day I will.

Do guys like Brent Franker or Gripenfelter ever frequent this forum anymore or did they get one of those purdie new Camaros? I can definitely see Brent driving around in a yellow 2SS right about now.
I haven't heard anything from Brent but I thought I saw him selling some stuff in the for sale section, unless it was someone else with a similar name - Grip is in the lounge and I think he is still messing with his car, but I don't know too much about it.

I always got the impression that most, or at least some, of the people posting here knew their $hit a little better in comparsion to most of the posters on LS1Tech, but that site does seem to get considerably more traffic. I pretty much used this site exclusively, as well as shoebox's site, when I started trying to get my car running after it had sat for years.

I snoop around daily, perhaps I should contribute more since this site gave me so much when I started.

i think a big part is also because this used to be a LT1 site, now we are pushed far down the list basically as a sub section because of the new camaro like a red headed step child. most people just went somewhere they were appreciated.

but also i would like to say that through all of this we still have many good people here like shoebox and injuneer who post in almost every thread

I agree with this. I came to the site one day and couldnt find LT1 tech, then I realized it was 1/2 down the page. I think this site was it's busiest when it was known as THE LT1 site. I understand being well rounded is good, but I think the LT1 section should be seen as the foundation of the site and should not be foresaken
