Where to go for cheap editting and cables?

I need to eliminate my EGR, vats, air ,and maybe do some tweeking while Im there. I need the cables first and editting next. I talked to a guy that said he can do it, but I cant find his email and I need a cable from another guy I cant remember.
I dont want the $90 AKMcables. I need something cheaper and I will solder onto my wires without a problem. Hell I did the motor swap using a stock Caprice wiring harness I think I can do this!

If you don't want to spend the money for a quality cable then just make your own. AKM has schematics on his website on how to make your own... or at least he used to

FWIW, I recommend just buying a known good cable from AKM.

last i knew Andrews cables were only $65 if you dont go with that molded connector. and as Brent said you can make your own cable. Andrew can sell you all the parts to make it for maybe $35 or $40 but its a lot of work IMO. there are 2 guys that i know of who make a cables that are flash worthy and one is Andrew at AKM cables.. the other guy i think basically works with him so all the parts and prices should be the same.

if you are looking for a cable for $10 it wont happen. if you invest in a poor quality cable you risk the chance of loosing a PCM and i can guarantee you that will cost more than the small money you are tryin to save.

As for the editing, the best and the cheapest place is MadZ28.com. Ion, the owner, is a fellow board member, too (MadWolf). He made my tuning and I was simply amazed!! Ordered the program on Thursday, got the file next day! Contact him and tell him Victor sent you
