That's a sweet deal. A lot better than ~$70!

Yeah, that is pretty much what list price is for the GM part. This one does not appear to be a genuine GM part.

Re: Where to get an opti harness for 95+

Just ordered one. Mine has been hanging by a thread at the opti connector end ever since the opti got replaced. 42.95 w/ shipping.

I'll post the quality of the part when I get it.
Certainly beats the $100 or so rate (because GM thinks you can't get it anywhere else)

I had tried e-mailing the TA Creations salvage yard to see if I could get a used one but they don't sell them for some reason. Along with dash-pads.

That picture does not look representative of the part, because the opti end of it would have to be a lot longer to work. Cheap, though.

yea it should....95 and later cars have the vented opt1. The older style has a short plug on the end. The one in the pic has a long one like ours.

Re: Where to get an opti harness for 95+

I just got the new one today, looks good. The connector is a tad over 2 inches long by my estimate. I'll take pics here within the next couple of days with the old and new connector and send them to anyone that wants them.

I'll try to get a comparison pic as soon as I can. As soon as I get a part for my car it always rains for the next couple of days.
