Where to get chrome valve covers that fit around alt???

Looking for some chrome covers that will allow me to use the stock alt location. Also looking for a place that powder coats intake for cheap, but still does a good job.

Jegs has them for $106. They are chrome steel with a red chevy bowtie on them. I have them on my car. There is usually a set on ebay that is polished aluminum.

I dont think a red chevy bowtie will look too spiffy on my trans am, but thanks anyway. Anyone else know of anywhere?

Any Centerbolt valve cover will work. You need to modify the alternator to clear the area the valve covers will take up. Someone has a pictoral guide to show you how. I'll try to find it for you. Mike

Got mine off ebay from a company in arizona called "chrome this" Good quality, has the alt notch and keeps a good shine. had them for over a year.

With this modification, you can fit any aftermarket V/C you want on it.

I have the popular centerbolt eBay polished aluminum covers. They come pre-notched for alternator clearance. Here's a few pics:

just use a rubber mallet and dimple the valve covers...that is exactly what i did with mine. The valve covers i used are the traditional chrome with red chevy bowtie ans such
