where to get an air box for ram air hood.

I am thinking of buying an oem hood off of a guy but he doesnt have the air box anymore. where can i get one at a decent price? I know of suncoastcreations and americansportscardesign but is there anywhere else that is alittle cheaper. also is there aftermarket lids for lt1 air boxes. any help will be appreciated.

SLP sells the O.E. look ram air boxes. They are identical to the GM ones but the lid doesn't say ram air or SS/WS6

I have one I'm not going to use w/ a K&N. I'll get a pic of it to see if it's the right setup.

I never even tried to install it. Just looked on SLP and it's the one for the Impala. http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...&SHOWEMAIL=Off
Guy that I bought it from said it was for a 93-97 camaro. It looks like it would fit. I'm going to check it out tonight. Sorry.

Did you post in the Wanted or look in the For Sale Sections. I hate to see you pay 300 bucks for an airbox. BTW, I've heard that a CAI induction is actually better then ram air.

I just recently bought an slp cai from slp but i was gonna sell and buy ram air. I heard ram air is better...well they said at top end it is better anyway. But i guess it doesnt matter as long as im not gonna go 120 though huh? I already posted to sell for $170 shipped(it is still in box new). if it doesnt sell i will just keep and save a little cash. thanks for the opinions guys.
