Angry Where to get 4 pin Plug for Opti ?

Where can I get the four pin plug for the top of the opti-spark. Mine is corroded and the dealer wants 100.00 for the harness. All I need is the plug but they don't sell the plug only

You might check your local parts store and ask to look at their book on pigtails... It might be in there...

93-94 are the same 95-97 are the same. They do not interchange. If you were looking for some other year than what is in your sig, you should have said, before people went to the trouble to try to help you.

The cheapest you can get it is around $60 from GMpartsdirect.com, you cannot find a simalar plug ANYWHERE, I have tried.

Is the corrosion bright blue by chance?

Yes bright blue ....I used a pick to pull it apart, if I can find the crimp on sockets I can repair it .

The opti was fried but I can't see how I even ran with that plug

Make sure the vacuum harness coming off the opti is in good shape and the one way valve and flow reducer are intact, installed correctly, and functioning right.

My one way valve was installed backwards and I was burning up optis every 300 miles till I figured it out. The plug was corroded bright blue everytime too.

I soaked my connector in water(yup, water) overnight and 99% of the at blue stuff came off. Did this 3 times with the same connector and it worked perfectly.

Just a heads up.

Thanks fireman...I bought a new vacuum harness , and the old one wasn't even hooked up.

The plug is so corroded some of the metal is eaten away on the pin sockets.

This car had a multitude of problems Im slowly taking care of since I bought it
