Where to find an offroad stainless 3 Inch Y pipe for 97 camaro

Where can I find a 3 inch stainless offroad Y pipe for my car. All I have been able to find is a 2.5 inch pipe, and my exhaust crom the y pipe back is 3 inch. What could I do, or where can I find one? Local exhaust shops aren't good around here and would not be able to custom make one. Help please

Are you sure that is a 3 inch Y pipe, doesn't say there? In summits magazine it shows that part number as a 2.5 inch Y pipe made by stainless works.

Thats what I did. It'l cost you just as much as if you bought one. I was just curious as to why it has to be stainless????

Rest of the exhaust is stainless, plus, it will last me a lifetime. Looks good too.

Even a semi-decent muffler shop should be able to bend pipes and weld them together. Mine was 150 made and installed and if you want it to last, ceramic coat it or buy that clear stuff that acts like a plastic coating but its clear and heat resistant. As for stainless for the looks?? its gonna be under the car where you can only see it if its on a lift so why do you need "looks" on a y pipe??

Exhaust shop cannot mandrel bend the pipes, only crease them.

My Random Technology 2 3/4" aftermarket dual cat 96/97 Y pipe works fine for me. Its aluminized too, and I've had it more than a year now with no complaints. Why do you think you need a 3" Y??? Have you seen the outlet diameter on the manifolds?

Haven't checked. The stock y pipe is 3 inch, so i figured i might as well put a 3 inch on without cats. Plus, it helps with performance.
Also will bolt right up to my magnaflow system, since its a 3 inch echaust also.

The stock y-pipe is only 2 1/2. The offroad pipe from summit is 2 3/4 and is mandrel bent tube. I bought it, the fit wasnt the greatest but i got it on and then took it to a muffler shop to get welded up.

It flows well enough with my headers to give me an EGR malfunction code. the car also got about twice as loud.
