Where does the EGR exhaust side tube go?
You'll probably be able to get at it by the ex. manifold side only from below, it won't be accessible from up top. It'll bolt to the side of the pass. ex. manifold just above the collector where your pass. part of the y-pipe connects to the manifold.
Once you find the bolt that connects the pipe to the manifold spray some rust penetrant on there and let it soak a bit before trying to unbolt it. You don't want to snap that bolt off or you'll be doing a manifold re & re to fix it, but if it happens, good time to think about some headers.
