Where do the vacuum lines go from the air bleed valve for the AIR pump??

This little solenoid looks like the little thing in the bottom right here. Heres an up close view of it.

While I was taking the AIR tube off the drivers side of the motor (near the header), this came with out with it. I think one of the vacuum lines goes to the air pump or one of the air tubes or something. My only question is where does the other one go to?? It doesn't really show it in the picture. So if someone who still has AIR on their car could go look and see where the two lines go, that would be GREAT! because I really dont want a vacuum leak.

I would assume that the line went to the intake manifold, but I just can't find a place for it to go. All help appreciated. Thanks!

Yep, should go up on the side of the intake.

Checked there and theres no vacuum fittings. The only fittings over there are for the EGR solenoid and the master cylinder. There no other one for this.

I went and looked at my buddy's Impala SS motor which still has AIR, but I couldnt find the air pump bleed valve on it?

I'm stumped...

Could someone else have removed the fitting previously?

I highly doubt it on my car. When I bought the car it was bone stock, not one single aftermarket thing done to it.

I was the one who removed AIR and EGR just a couple weeks ago.

As for my buddy's Impala, I suppose it coulda been removed. The car has headers but still has AIR and EGR.

there is an "F" fitting that goes on the side of the intake - it splits the vaccum port that the egr uses, so that egr and AIR can share it. The "F" fitting was put into the cars after an AIR/EGR recall, at least for me.

good luck! I'm in the process of reinstalling AIR, gotta smog
