Where can I get a Block off plate for an LT1

For the EGR, I don't want to make it, just easier to buy it

I just cut and crimped the old tube like 3" from where it bolts to the manifold. Then I welded it

I bought the EGR valve blockoff plate (for the LT4) from Jason Cromer, and plan to crimp the EGR tube and use a coke can to cover the tube plate in the back.

I used the EGR block off plate and then I took the metal hose out of the plate and got some high temp gasket material and cut out a solid gasket to go back in there and seal up that hole.

Used a tin can that I cut out to a flat piece with tin snippers and drilled holls in the can for the studs and used the gasket that came in the intake manifold kit. and there was a block off plate, whoo!!!

Ok real quick! , I'm doing a header install and when I was removing stock passenger manifold, the egr tube bolt was solid at the 02/flnage toward the y-pipe...stuck after several hours of attempts. I just cut the stupid egr pipe so I can get the manifold off but I want to remain emmissions legal. I was wondering if there is a way to pass the codes of EGR flow. I actually want to do the plate so I dont have to hasle with that annoying hose. But at time of smog, I'll throw up a code right? And SES light? Lemee know if theres a way to ditch the SES and code on this if thats the case..

thanks..

Umm...yeah that will throw a code. Hehe you need that hose there for the egr to function properly. If you want to get rid of the code you're going to have to get it programed out. good luck
