Don't exist due to how our belt is routed.

Actually there is one to retain power steering but you lose A/C. Not positive where I saw it. Wish I had a better memory! LOL

You talking about the one that adds the idler pulley in between where the alternator mounts, and you mount the alternator where the a/c mounted?

If I dont find anything cheaper, im going to make my own. Maybe Ill start manufacturing one. It would be nice to be able to throw any center bolt valve cover on our engine and it would make plug changes and inspecting your valve train A LOT easier. Not to mention handling would be slightly improved with the alternator mounted lower.

you could make your own if you dont mind losing your A/C. it also only costs about $40.

take a look through these http://rides.webshots.com/album/373661912YZXxkj

it pretty straightforward to do, if you look through the pictures you can basically see everything that has to be done.

1. notch the acc. bracket for the alt to fit snug where the A/C compressor was.
2. fabricate a new mounting bracket for the top bolt hole of the alt. to mount to the PS bolt. I used a piece of 3/8 or so steel from home depot. the bottom alt bolt hole can be mounted through an existing hole in the acc. bracket.
3. fabricate a mount for the pulley that will go up top where the alt. was.
i used my A/C delete pulley with some bushings cut accordingly to get the placement of the pulley to line up with the rest of the acc. pulleys.
4. check/notch the alt accordingly for the PS line to go by. you may have to bend the line a bit.

hope this helps

not without relocatin the ps pump somehow

btw crank spins clockwise
tensioner doesnt matter
alt, CW?
ps pump CCW?

what happens if you spin it the wrong way, the inlet becomes the high pressure and the outlet line becomes the low pressure?
or am i thinking crazy?

93black-ta....

how hard is it to change the plug wires with the alternator right there? looks like it might be more difficult...i dunno.

where did you get that pulley for where the alt used to be? i was thinking about making my own bracket to move the alt down to the driver side....

The ALT is very close to the opti, and the wires have a hard time making the turn. The best way to keep the wires from getting wasted by the belt is to route it like I did. You will notice in the pics, they don't have the wires installed. I will try to dig up some pics of my set up if you need it.
