I'm looking for those "strap" type exhaust clamp. You know they're about 3-4in long and have 2 bolts where you can tighten down on the exhaust pipe. I've been looking for one to "strap" my y-pipe to my intermediate pipe. I don't want to weld it because it'll weld my y-pipe to my whole exhaust, and it'd be a pain in the butt to take it part. So I was just thinking about using one of those clamps to hook it together. Anyone know where I could pick one of these up at?

you mean a u-bolt? where it's threaded on both sides and has a piece of metal going accross? most hardware stores carry em in varying sizes.

 

Most part stores should have them.

 

Its not a U.. its more like a flat sheet of metal that you could just wrap around the pipe and it'll have 2 holes for bolts that you can tighten the stap down with..
