I'm trying to find a 3" y-pipe, from 3" to 2 3" outlets. I have found 3" to 2 2-1/2", but nothing in 3". I plan to put the y right after the axle and run one straight back with a ultaflow bullet, and one out the drivers side with an ultraflow bullet.

Check with these guys. Won't be a problem for them or you could fabricate one yourself.

Good luck!

I found you a 3 to 3-1/2 but no 3" to 3" yet.

Let me get back to you, I've got a buddy of mine who builds headers and custom exhaust. He's building a set of headers for me at the moment and I'll most likely be seeing him later this evening. I'll ask him and see what he ahs to say.

Just a thought: Two 3 inch tailpipes off a 3 in intermediate pipe really doesn't help performance. Two 2-1/2 pipes have about 37% more flow area than one 3 inch pipe.

If you were going to use the 24222 mufflers(?) you could use 24215's instead. They should also be a little quieter than the 3 inchers.

Just personal opinion here, and no flame intended, but when I see overly large tailpipes behind a smaller intermediate pipe, I think "Ricer".

This is where http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/flomstr1e.htm I bought a flowmaster collector for $35 and built a custom 3" y-pipe to a 4" back. You can also buy 3" and 4" aluminized 14 gauge exhaust piping there for really cheap. With this on my Jet-hot Hooker LT, there is not really any ground clearance issue and my car is dropped 1inch.

cheers
