Where to buy EGR blockoff plate?

I got mine from Steve, works great. If you want, you can make it yourself.

I just took one of the metal spark plug boot covers. flattened it with a hammer. cut it down with a hacksaw and drilled the 2 holes in it. only took about a half hour. Nobody will see it anyway being in the back of the intake manifold
How bout this... instead of going through the trouble of taking off the EGR pipe, which looks to be a PITA since it's way behind the manifold, I just took a bolt with a decent sized head, and stuck it into the end of the EGR pipe that connected to my header, put some gasket sealer around it, and a small clamp. Looks to be working just fine, and it only took a few minutes
Ghetto? Yes indeed. Simple? Yup!

Go to the dealer and order an EGR block off plate for a 1996 6-speed (LT4) Corvette. It's around $7. The second one can be made fairly easily.
Or just buy from the guy above.

I would not use the soda can because of the thickness. We used one on a car and a week later it blew a hole right through the can. HTH
I simply left the egr valve on there with a cap over the vacum port, as for the egr pipe, i hack sawed the pipe to almost the end and filled it inside out with epoxy and let it cure 24hrs, so far so good!
