Where is the block heater?

Where is the block heater on our cars?

I just found out mine isn't connected.

I followed the cord to the back of the block but I can't find it.

Anyone have a pic?

I would think that is correct. On my '98 S-10, it is on the drivers side. Same thing though, it heats the coolant.

That diagram indicates its on the passenger side.

Thats not possible the way the plug is routed.

It has to be somewhere on the driver's side.

What do you mean when you say "Thats not possible the way the plug is routed."?
Could somebody have moved it?

I can send you a diagram that shows the way the wire is ran. I can send them first thing in the am.

That diagram is for VIN S (V6). The heater is on the other side on the LT1.

Shoebox: You need a picture of the location of the block heater on your webpage. It's about the only thing you're missing.

I would if I could find something other than a drawing that shows just the power cord.
