When you signal left or right what would cause both lights to blink at the same time?

They are both (front and rear) going through the same flasher.



Or, are you saying that when you use your left turn signal that both the left AND right lights flash?

I'd vote for a bulb that has an internal filament short, probably to the running light filament. I'd substitute a new bulb in, one socket at a time to see if the problem goes away.

Could be a malfunctioning turn signal switch/stalk. That is a common "junction" for both sides.
