when is it time to install a oil cooler on my car. i have a s-trim with 8lbs - head work and boltons. i don't race the car at the track nor do i plan to. but for normal driving would i need one?

where the heck does a oil cooler hook up too?

 

mine came with one stock and it hooks up to the radiator and water pump. It goes between the oil filter and block. I am not putting mine back on when i get the motor put back together because i don't really think it does enough to justify the ugliness and hassle of getting it in there. Also makes header installs harder because it adds like 2 1/2" to the oil filter

 

yes i ripped my stock one of last summer- they don't do crap..
