whats your take. 11 seconds with p600B + LT4 heads/intake = 11 second?

With the ati procharger p600b, LT headers, CB exhaust, ORY, air foil, a good tune and LT4 heads/LT4 intake, is this enough to get me into the HIGH 11s?

whats your opinion?
thanks

Depending on how much boost you run will determine this. What your needing are some supporting mods. A converter and gears will be your biggest gain et wise. I would forget the heads and put a 28-3200 stalled converter,3.73 gears, cam, all the boltons. And a alky kit to help keep the IAT's down. That combo should get you pretty damn close if not well into the 11's. Oh and about 10psi should work.

Try the forced induction forum, you'll get a more solid answer there. Seems that most poeple in this forum just do heads/cam and maybe some spray.

Try high 10's.

I have the same ATI Procharger on a '96 Z-28 with a 6 speed. When I was running 10 lbs of intercooled boost on a completely stock motor with Jet Hot long tube headers, 42 lb injectors and a very conservative tune, it ran 12.20s @ 116 mph, driving it mildly. (1.70 ft - 60 ft. times)

lol 1.7 60' times are far from mild. Most guys struggle to break 2.0 60' times and are terrified their going to blow the 10 bolt out. Regardless though, I would think it would be more than enough for high 11's but like everyone said, do the supporting mods first like the stall and such. Anything to help the car run cooler as well. Heat kills boosted engines. Fast.

And make sure you have a good tune for it. You dont want to lean it out on the stock bottom end. The stock bottom sucks bad enough for boost. Its relaly bad if its leaned out. Thats like a ticking time bomb. It would be worth your time too to get a AFR gauge and wire it up, that way you know rght away if its leaning out, and a EGT to keep an eye on the temps a little better.

I have been in the high 10's/low 11's with a combo like that. Good luck

the lt4 heads are going to raise your compression a little, and for a power adder the lt1s already have to much compression

might want to think about getting your lt1 heads worked on a little. some minor work and they will outflow an lt4 head and still save you money.

Keep your LT1 heads and intake.

See cardomain site for my 11 sec combo. Heads and bottom end untouched 120+k miles, race 2 nights a week. Don't expect it to last long however - get a forged bottom end and lower the compression.

I've done a lot to the car's chassis/suspension, but the 1.7 60 ft times were obtained with a 2500-2800 "mild" launch, ET Street tires and shifting the car at 6000 rpms. My point was that with the set-up mentioned above, a conservative tune and a stock motor with headers, the car ran 12.20's easily...just something to compare to.
