Whats wrong w/ my car?
ok well i just noticed it this morning, i pushed my car a little bit, off the line, it was sitting there for a few moments so it heated up to about 230 or so (pretty normal) i turned on the a/c to help cool it off, but i jetted off the line, and about 3/4 a mile later anything above like 2200 rpms the engine felt like it was cutting out. like it wanted to just shut off, but then since im driving like 70-75 mph its like an instant push start, and it keep jolting around like this...
anyone help me that would be great, ive had one day of driving like a grandma and im sick of it already

if this is a high milege car i would for sure check out the opti spark, according to the gm dealer chart this is one of the symptoms of the opti going out, email me sometime and i will give you an id and a password if intrested on the service information
i did just replace a radiator hose monday evening, and water probably did get on it, but i didnt notice anything that night when i drove to my gf's house, i drove wot a lot too, but it was the next morning that i noticed it
are you saying you turned the a/c on to cool the car?
if so thats not how it works. It does turn the other fan on while the a/c is running but its to pull more air through the condensor which will usually get warm . Generally turning on the a/c will heat the car up more.
But all things else aside it prolly is the opti. If its not running bad (you said it was i know) you can make sure you got all the air out of the coolant lines. I noticed you said you did replace a hose.

stock fans come on low speed at 226, 235 on high i believe. and seeing that you're in LA, i assume its hot there? I dunno, b/c in hot nyc weather, I'll get my car up to 226 and then the fans come on to cool it down, so you're temp isnt really high.
The car should under no circumstance exceed 220-225*. If it does, there is a problem. The fans kick on high around that temp and drop the temps back down to 200ish and repeat the process if the car is sitting.
