Whats up with Speed INC? (ls1speed.com)
Have they stopped selling LT1 Engine and Transmission parts ?
It's either that or it takes over 2 months to Complete their website?
Either way thunderracing has been getting my sales, Because they DO sell LT1 parts..
Anyone know what the deal is?

Everyone seems to be hopping on the ls1 bandwagon. That engine is still be produced unlike the lt1. Its hard to find a dyno shop who will even tune a lt1 down here. But don't feel bad, try finding parts for thirdgens =/.

I was always told, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Well as for speed inc..........
I have taken my buisness else where as well. Acually I never had buisness there in the first place. Is it just me, but if your not building a "race car" through them they don't want to help you?

Supposedly they're still updating the website, but boy it's taking them a while. I think I've seen the same stuff for at least 2 months now.
I never had any problems with them though.

Re: Whats up with Speed INC? (ls1speed.com)
I've only had one problem with them, when they sold me a part that didnt quite fit my car but they ordered a new part and gave me a free pull on the dyno
And just yesterday I dropped my car off for a y pipe w/cat install and they busted their **** off to get it done today!
As for the website, yeah it is a little weird right now but have people really gotten to the point where they cant pick up a damn phone!
My business has been with them and as long as I have an f body I will keep going back to them. Great bunch of guys over there.

Re: Whats up with Speed INC? (ls1speed.com)
The issues I've had with them in the past were always resolved. But then again, it seems like every major/minor sponsor has had some "issues" over the years with all of us. Thread after thread or word of mouth has verified this...
I agree they should have their new website updated by now, but I ASSURE you all they still sell all the LT1 parts, LOL. They've done some work on my LT1 lately and will so in the future. Not to mention I always see LT1's waiting to get worked on out back.
With that said, pick up the damn phone and give them a call if you're looking for something in particular.
Chances are they'll have it, and if not, they'll get it for you at a good price and price match as well.
They should be more than willing to work with you all over a bad experience. Because if not, then they shouldn't be in business. But although Speed Inc is VERY busy (I wish they would get more help/space), I do like Larry, Tom, Mike, & others as I deal with them a lot since I live right by them.
Rather than start a thread like this, why not just call them up to see why?

Re: Whats up with Speed INC? (ls1speed.com)
I've had nothing but good experience with the relatively small amount of business I've done with them. I dealt with Tom on a GP for a Griffin Intercooler, and he was very good to deal with. Also ordered the lightweight carpet, and their "uncut" version did have a cutout for the console which I didn't want. A simple phone call, and two days later a new one completely uncut was at my doorstep in exchange. Everyone I talked to on the phone spent a lot of time discussing things with me, and never did I feel rushed when asking questions and making a decision. As far as I can tell, they are a stand-up operation.

I had my gears put in by them, good guys, I have no complaints with them personally so far..However its getting frustrating that they have no LT1 parts!

Have you even read the thread? They have a ton of LT1 parts, if you would bother to pick up a god damn phone you would realize that.
Re: Whats up with Speed INC? (ls1speed.com)
I haven't actually bought from them yet, though I try to spread my business around to all different vendors, usually to see who has the best deal for whatever I am looking for. So far combination motorpsorts and speed engineering have both been great.
