I have a flowmaster catback but want a different sound with the new OR pipe. I was thinking that the magnaflow was a good choice. people told me they are quiet and flow better than anything

I like my Magnaflow a lot. I would like to hear the hooker but its not stainless and that was the deciding factor for me.

I really like my Borla, but it's a bit boomy when on the freeway.

Borla, but only if your exhaust system is sized properly.

It really suprises me that nobody ever suggests the Spintech Mufflers. The only outfit to offer catback systems with these mufflers is Mufflex but if you visit the Spintech website there is a replacement muffler for just about every application for around $100.

I had a 3" Flowmaster American Thunder with a single output but the exhaust drove me crazy with my new Stroker moter. I Replaced just the muffler with a Spintech Sportsman Street XL and it made a huge difference. The Exhaust note is great and the power increase was also noticable.

My hooker aerochamber with hooker silencer tips was quiter than my eclipse at cruise. Once you open up though it has a nice refined, muscular tone to it. It's not nasty like the borla and not played out like flowturd. IMO, Hooker, Magnaflow, and B&B make the nicest sounding systems that aren't too obnoxious.

Nasty like the borla?? Come on dude, have you even heard a Borla on a lt1 with headers and cam?? Music to the ears.

Now if you want cheap and a ok sound, get a Hooker Exhaust. J/K
