Whats the purpose of this line??

Okay, bare with me. Its the vacuum like line that goes from the fuel lines on the driver's side of the engine valve cover area and goes under the TB and up around the TPS and connects to the filter like thing. The reason I ask is I found mine disconnected near the TPS this morning.

thanks.

It would be a vacuum leak every time the EVAP solenoid was energized. Plus you might get a few fumes out of the hose going back to the gas tank.

Sorry to keep bothering you Shoe. (like always). Would it effect the performance of the car? Seemed to be runing normal.

I guess it does not bother it too much since you did not notice. The PCM would make adjustments to compensate somewhat. It would not have been a constant leak (like I said-only when the solenoid was energized).
