every time i run my car hard i get out and smell a very strong smell of oil burning. however, my car does not ever use a drop of oil between changes , and never gets blackened between changes. so what's the smell? i know i don't have a leak

Are you positive you are not burning oil? You should have someone follow you so they can let you know whether your car is burning oil or not.

 

Check the rear of the intake manifold for a leak.
