Whats needed to convert OBDII to OBDI? I already got an OBDI PCM and plugged it into the 1996 Z28. It started right up, but I heard something about a knock sensor needing to be replaced?

Also, are there any off road pipes available for a 1996 z28 with dual cats?

 

Yup, you need the OBD-I knock sensor. Not a big deal, simply unscrew the old one out of the block and swap in the new one.

 

or you can have it (knock sensor) reprogrammed thru the pcm, or deleted
