whats grinding/clicking with my brakes?

I've been trying to diagnose this problem on my own for a while now, and can't seem to figure it out. When cruising along my rear passenger side brake makes a squeaking sound that turns into a clicking crunching sound. I'm thinking that I may have a bent or warped rotor. Would this cause this and how could I bend it this bad?

I dont know if this is a possibility at all but I once had a stuck rear caliper that wore one pad down completely. Under light braking it would make grinding noises because the pad was gone.

thats definitely a possibilty, but if thats the case, then the issue thats causing the squeking is the culprite. It only started grinding recently. I think it may be wearing down weirdly since the rotor is bent?

another thing that seems weird is that I can tug on the tire and get a little inward outward play. Which isn't there on the other side

the squeaking is the squealer hitting the rotor surface. and the clicking is it hitting the area the pad has dug into the rotor.. and you can fix this w/ some new cheapo pads till you buy new rotor's.. if you like..

I've actually determined the squeaking to be the inside of the rotor rubbing on the hub. Sorry I meant to mention that. Thats the main thing that leads me to believe that the rotor is bent, but why would it bend. By the way, this has been progressively getting worse since I bought it. Do you think the previous owner nailed a curb or something?

the front? thats weird.. I would think a rotor would crack rather than bend as you have mentioned.. is their something behind the rotor enabling it to be on a non level plane? get another rotor and test it.. see what happens.. Might just be one of those things...

you know what, I'm an idiot, I just remembered that a while back I took the one on the driver's side and swapped it, and the sound remained. So this must be something else. I'm not sure what its called, but the shaft that comes from the differential and goes to the tires may be bent. But how could this happen and what do I do to fix it. Like I said before, I can tug on the tires and pull this shaft in and out. I notice the squeaking sound at all speeds and the car rides fine, no vibration.....

could it just be the hub on the end? Are they removable?

its not usually the hub that bends its the actual axle.. you can see this by pulling off the rear rotor and letting the axle spin w/ the car in drive or 1st gear.. you'll see the walk in it.. and as far as i know its not possible nor logical to just replace the hub ... axle's are cheap now. w/ everyone going 9" or 12 bolt..
