well it looks ok but I would be cautious of what brand the filter is. the tubing doesnt really matter I have seen guys run 12s with PVC pipeing running to the intake. its all about how that filter is going to flow.

I bought one when I got my car about a year ago, don't bother. It's made in his garage and rubs against the underside of your hood. It pretty much does the job, but I would pay out the extra money for the SLP or something. Trust me you'll eventually buy another and throw it away. (See signature)

Mind you I waited for months before I found the dirt cheapest one available.

Works like mint though

That guy who sells that crap is a scumbag. He used to have a different ebay user i.d. He screwed so many people that he had to chane i.d.'s. I don't see how a c.a.i. can draw in cooler air if the filter is in the engine bay, where as the real ones like K&N and Moroso mount the filter underneath the fender away from the engine. Trust me, that guy is a scammer. I bought the Piaa conversion kit from him. The bulbs were yellow and all the kit consisted of was 4 lights and B. Franker 's instructions that he stole from his website. He was selling the kit and saying that it was the Rytek kit and he had bought out there stock when they went under. I think he still sells his so called "kit" but uses even cheaper lights now, like the ones you can get at Pep Boys for $35 bucks. He also sells body piercing garbage. I think he should stick to that and leave the F-Body crowd alone.

It's crap. If it's not cold air, it's useless. The stock airbox, although restrictive, protects the filter from engine bay heat resulting in cooler air. That thing will suck hot air..most you'll get is 2-3HP.

Ok thanks for all the replies... now a bit offtopic -- do airfoils work any? It looks more like a restriction to me. Any input?

Air foils are a good $30 - $40 investment. I love mine. I didn't really feel a gain except on throttle response. But that's where you want it!!! I recommend getting one.
