i hear that putting 411's in the rear lowers the life span of your car, is this true? What does this mean.

 

They lower the life span of your car because the drivetrain spins more/faster than it use to. Also your gas mileage will go down too.

 

noise mostly. if the rear is not setup perfect it whines loudly. gas mileage will suffer at first but it will be because of you, not the gear except at prolonged runs above 85 or so on the highway. another disadvantage is you wont always be able to use your gear because then your friends without a 4.10 wont be able to stay up.
