The LT4 has more ported runners I believe the tops are about .200 higher on them.

Doesn't really matter what it means because he is wrong anyway.

Internally the same as the late LT1s but has more material above the port to seal to the ports in the head which are .100 taller.
This is a comparison pic GIZMO from the other forum took of an LT1 and LT4 manifold side by side.

No. There is more metal at the top of the runners, to allow the LT4 intake to be "ported" to matched the taller runners on the LT4 heads. Unfortunately, the factory left the ports the same size as the LT1 intake, so there is no gain by going to an LT4 intake, and the intake doesn't even match the LT4 heads correctly.

And you can't put an LT4 intake on LT1 heads, unless you machine either the valve cover rail on the LT1 heads, or the (outsdie) tops of the LT4 intake runners, because there is an interference that prevents the manifold from bolting up correctly.

So porting an Intake manifold, Lets more air into each cylinder?

If its done correctly, it may increase the air flow. But you have to work the intake manifold and the heads together to get the best results. The impact on the LT1 manifold is not really large, because there isn't much you can do with the short, 4" runners. Its a fairly good design from the factory.

ok I kinda get it now, so They let more air in, But the same amount of Gas as an LT1 intake manifold? or just air.

There is no "gas" (if you mean gasoline) in the LT1 intake or the LT4 intake. It only flows air. The more air you can put into the engine, the more fuel you can burn, and burning fuel is what makes the HP. The fuel is added by the fuel injectors, that mount in the little round holes in each port on the intake manifold. The injectors spray fuel directly into the head ports.

In this picture, the intake manifold is at the upper left, the dark diagonal line is the gasket that sits between the intake manifold and the head. The injectors spray fuel out of the slot at the very top of the photo, maybe 1/3 of the way from the left side. You can see the tip of the injector in the slot.

Oh ok. It's something I gotta look at in person To understand it! But I have a general Idea,
I know how it works now, Just gotta see where those parts are and how it happens
