I've seen 245 nittos and 255 bfg drag radials. Other then that you'll have to go with a smaller 15 in rim or larger wider tire. Most of the companies make them for 15 in rims. Nitto does make theirs for larger tires but you're not gonna go much wider then that on a 8 in rim.

drag radials: BFG is 255/50/16, NITTO is 245/50/16 the only size available for 16"

17" drag radials are available in 315/35/17 and a 275 size.

et streets are available in 26x11.5x16 and they will fit 16x8 wheels.

Just FYI, those may take a tad bit of clearancing to fit. The BFH method worked wonders for me.

Yup, even for the non lowered folks!

They hit the inside if the wheel well, kinda behind the top right of rotor if looking straight on.

The 10.5 will be plenty. Only reason i run the 11.5s is that they are a tad taller too which helps cut down my gear a little

The clearancing is really minimal though, im a freak about my car and keeping it in nice shape and i had no problem doing it.

the part i would have to hammer would be right where the top folds down in to, space is very limited in that area on my vert....

True, you have less space. Im not sure how tight it is down there with the verts.

I would say you need to knock it in ~3/8 inch
