Yeah I remember you saying that you get deals on turbos and piping but the little things are what adds up. Fuel system, Wastegates, etc. If you could do a turbo system for less than a blower then what the heck are you waiting for . I guarantee you by the time you are all done with it you will have more into your turbo setup than a blower. You can get a used blower kit for 2000.
I understand how it works, but someone on the vette forums is controlling the boost with a blow off valve
I have no idea how though.

i dont want anything used
a new turbo setup for like $1600-
evertyhing but tuning and headers for around $1500
huge intercooler, twin turbos and they would support 700hp easy.
My 11:1 compression isn't helping either.
This same guy is porting my heads and ported them under the assumption that it was going to be na.

If i do go twin turbo, I would go all out with DFI, nitrous, lower 7.8:1 compression, 4 bolt mail billet caps and dual 255s as opposed to just one.

Go for it. Drop some dished style pistons or go with aftermarket heads to drop the compression down. That would be a pretty bad setup if you went with it but hope you have a nice credit limit. Good luck with the DFI because I can tell you for a fact it is not a simple system to tune. I am currently working on a twin-intank 255lph which I hope works with my setup.

Also I understand what you are saying about those guys on the Vette Forum. I guess what they do is they set their BOV to leak boost.
