Re: whats the best brand of headers?

I've had real good luck with my 2 sets of coated SLP headers. Good parts, fit well no rubbing, plug access is average.

It depends what you want. If you want the cheapest longtube, get pacesetters, but you get what you pay for. If you want a mid-upper level header without breaking the bank, then jethots or hookers would get the job done. And if you want the absolute best, get Kooks. I bought jethots because kooks weren't out when I bought headers, but if I were to buy headers I would get kooks. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Depends....if you're going to be lowering your car, stay away from the Hookers. From what I've heard the Pacesetters and the Kooks are very good on clearance. Personally I bought the Pacestter longtubes and ORY pipe off ebay without AIR and EGR.

Re: whats the best brand of headers?

Im curious to know if there would be a increase in power from switching from pacesetters to kooks 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 stepped headers.
