What's it for

This bolt is just sticking out of the engine block above the oil cooler adapter. I'm sure it's keeping oil from leaking out but what's this port for?

I believe it's just a blind mounting hole, just remove it and see. The hex plug below it intersects the oil galley.

It's used for a clutch pivot ball stud for a mechanical clutch.
