Just curious what kinda exhaust you guys are running. With mods!! My car is almost done and I'm lacking exhaust? So how does yours sound?? Looking for something deep, but able to hear the lope!!!!

 

Ive got the same question. I was thinking of going with an SLP loudmouth or borla(dont know how borlas sound). Flowmaster's sound like crap on camaros imo. I think alot depends on if your going to be keeping you cat or not. Unless you like popping and crackling.

 

I love my hooker. I have an 18" dynomax bullet in the i-pipe too.

Sound clips have never done GMMG justice. But if you want to hear it I am in NE Ohio.

Mine sounds awesome, nothing on the road compares to it. Its one of those hear it to believe it things. Mean as hell...

same here. sounds even better if you have headers.

 

i run a 355 with xe230/236 and ported heads, long tubes 3 inch mufflex y pipe and full 3 inch flowmaster catback. i love the way it sounds, its pretty smooth but still quite. I used to run true duals with single chamber race flowmasters that dumped under the car..that was way too loud. i acutally get people at stop lights mistake my car for somewhat stock after the new exhaust.

 

Why does everyone run the mufflex Ypipes? Is the hooker one not as good? Just wondering if you had hooker headers why you wouldnt get the matching Y-pipe??

 

from what ive heard. the hookers do not match up well and require some modification to make them fit. ive never tried one so i dont know, i got my y pipe and catback used together, thats why i run a mufflex

 

The hookers fit up very well. My setup is almost identical to speed demon24. MAC headers, dynomax bullet muffler, hooker catback. Sounds incredible.
