What would you do if this were your goal?

I have a 93 TA... just under 70k miles. M6.

Eventually I would like it to be over 400rwhp... but first priority is that I would like to make the car a lifetime keeper. I am premed... I would like to have this car even after med school and just kinda hold on to it forever since it was my first car, even though I am sure I will have some other fun cars years from now.

So if that were your goal, where would you start, what would you do to make the car NEW.

Re: What would you do if this were your goal?

Alright guys, there are now two guys with the same goal. I have a 1997 SS and am going to do a rebuild. I am wondering what I can do to setup the engine for a nitrous application. I am also looking to be able to push out about 400 RWHP. I am open to all suggestions. I have a Venom VCN-2000 nitrous kit.

Also, I will be running a set of Hooker LTs and a custom setup exhaust with two chambered mufflers.

Need some ideas here, so help a guy out

Even with 70k on the car, if you want over 400RWHP and want it to be reliable. I would rebuild the engine, and make sure you use quality bearings. The main reason I would rebuild is that to make that much power you will be spinning the engine hard and the stock bearings will go sooner or later.

As for what to put in it. Do you have to pass emissions???

Yep a 355 would be the way to go.... Ported LT1 castings and a good cam kit from someone like Lloyd Elliot would be the way to go.

No emissions inspection here in OK anymore.

No I do not have to worry about emmisions.

I plan on running hooker LT's and custom 3" exhaust to quad Borla tips.
