What would make a nice "Complete" exhaust system?

I think for pure raw loud f-you sound I'd go with open tpis headers but for the street I'd run it w/ there y-pipe w/ the random cats into some sweet looking and sounding corsa's. By far this has to be one of the most expensive setups but it's my dream setup that I'm sure will sound incrediable.
...and DrivinSidewayz please send me a sound clip I'm dying to hear what those flp's into the corsa sound like!!!!

I have 1 5/8th MAC shorties, with an off road pipe and a Flowpath muffler! It is MAC front to back!! And it sound AWESOME!!!! Everyone tells me how good it sounds. It's loud but not annoying loud or tinny sounding!!!
I'm pretty happy with my setup:

I love the Random Tech catback. Its overlooked by most people on this board. Straight through muffler, screams at WOT. I use that with hooker LTs and a 2.5" y-pipe

I get a lot of compliments at the track and have a couple vids at home, and it does sound pretty nice.
I'll try to get a vid of it now that i have the head/cam setup on it. It sounds awesome, and hasn't gotten raspy like some do with a h/c setup.
I realize that the Flowmasters don't flow very well compared to other mufflers, but is this mainly because the f-body mufflers are the "crossflow" variety where the exhaust doesn't really pass straight through the muffler like it does on a single in/out. If you were to go true dual with H pipe, and single in/out 40 series, would this combo flow as well as other mufflers would with the same setup?

This is my setup.
Jet Hot LT's
Hooker Y-Pipe
Magnaflow Cat-back
my headers and y-pipe aern't here/installed yet, but I definately like the sound of the magnaflow catbac. Not too loud not too quiet. Should sound nice with the heads/headers/cam.

I have Hooker LTs, Mufflex y-pipe and the Magnaflow catback, and I love it.
The Hooker cat-back sounds very nice as well, but I'll admit to being partial.
Oh, the Edelbrock cat-back sounds good but is way too loud for my tastes..
Anyway... Here are sound clips from my Magnaflow setup...
They were ALL recored from the same position relative to the rear of the car, one totally stock, one stock manifolds/y-pipe with Magnaflow catback, and one Hooker LT's, ORY and Magnaflow catback. This gives you an excellent idea of how the sound changes as you change the overall exhaust system.
Make sure you play the stock exhaust file first and get the volume set, as it REALLY lets you hear the difference with the others.
On to the files:
Stock Exhaust
This one was done the same day as the stock one, but RIGHT AFTER the shop installed my catback.
Magnaflow Catback with stock manifolds and y-pipe
6 1/2 months later, 2 weeks after header install.
Hooker Long Tubes with Mufflex y-pipe (no cats) and Magnaflow catback
Hope this helps you make a decision.
