What would cause oil pressure to move 5psi up and down at idle?

What would cause oil pressure to move 5psi up and down at idle?

At any idle (cold or hot), with a freescan reading of 800 rpm's, I notice my oil pressure (fatory and autometer guage) jumps around 5 psi in either direction?

It is not when you have your ac on is it? I would not be conserned with it though.

Nope, A/C is inop waiting for a recharge.

mine does the same thing. i searched it before and its very common.

cool, thats one less thing to stress out about....just need to fix this dang oil leak now....
