Question What will be next???

Hello!
I have a question about what I should do next. I have $2000 to spend on my car. The car is 1996 LT1 with 125000 miles on it. I have stock LT1 internal! LT4 intake, Holley 52 throttle body, Pace Setter headers and Y pipe, no cat, no EGR, no air pump. Flowmaster muffler (I don’t know what kind of muffler, cuz it was already on the car when I bought it) But there’s just the muffler and 3.5 chrome tips, with stock pipes size. K&N cold air intake, Ceramic coated elbow, Granatelli In-Tank fuel pump 255 lph, Aeromotive GM LT-1 Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fuel injectors 36, MSD 6al and blaster coil 2, Hypertech Power programmer III, Rear end gear 4.10, Some kind of short thrower (Its even shorter after I broke it, cut it a little bit, and weld it back together) Some free mods. ZR1 275 front and 315 rear… stock suspension… And I’m about to finish installing Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel and Clutch Masters clutch stage 4…. So what should be the next mod? Should I buy suspension (K-member, A-arms, torque arm, etc…) Or do something else? And what?

Was it a bad idea to put regular LT4 intake in stock LT1 motor? Is it the same as LT1 intake, or should I do some mods to put it in? I installed the LT4 intake without any mods except I trimmed the sides a little bit so it will fit. I think it works just fine. Is it affecting the performance of the engine?

And which brake pads you guys recommend? I’m using regular brakes with regular rotor size but slotted and drilled. I’m looking for best brake pads.

Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!

That LT4 intake is probably taking away a little. I'd swing that LT4 intake to someone on the board and try not to rip them off. Stick the stocker back on and use the 2300-2400 you have on a rebuild and a cheap nitrous kit. 550$ for all the rebuild parts from Summit and machine work.... you can make some good power and not be afraid of it breaking.

With a 125K, the suspension could probably use some work, I would consider some upgrades like LCAs, panhard rod, and shocks. Maybe even a small shot of spray.

Re: What will be next???

I don't want to rebuild the engine. I'd rather buy a 383 or so later.
I don’t want to have Nos in my car cuz I’ve seen many times car in fire cuz of Nos! I’m scared of it! Any kind of blower is too expensive. Is it possible to build a 1000hp Camaro w/o Nos and blower?
For right now I’m thinking to buy:

BMR Non adjustable torque Arm,
Soph sway bars 32&25 Chrome Moly,
Soph Tubular Tunnel Brace,
Soph LCA,
LCA relocation Brackets,
Soph Panhard Bar,
BMR Upper & Lower A-arms,
Steel brake lines,
Brake lines locks.
Maybe aluminum drive shaft if I find some more money.

Maybe I should buy a cam and rocker arms instead of suspension? Or something like this?
Or transmission? What kind of transmission is best, and where to buy?

I really want a differential but I don’t know how install it. I don’t know who can install it for me. And I’m not sure what kind differential.

Do I need to buy regular A-arms with bushings or with rod ends? Adjustable or not? Do I need Chrome Moly or not?

Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!

buy a 9 inch or a 12 bolt the rear wont hold especaly when you get the good clutch and all then get the suspenion and work from the rear to the front power is nothing if you cant put it to the ground
