Summit Racing or Jegs sells them. It is about $60 if I recall correctly. Another reason to get the Moroso is that it does dual springs easily. Try using the Lysle or the K&D twist type with duals. No worky! I know I have used both.

ANyone want to buy my Lysle? I'll sell it real cheap.

Anyone try using the one from MORE Performance? Looks like a roller rocker with a provision to attach a ratchet. Looks really good except for the price $130. Was thinking of getting it but wanted some opions first.

The Moroso one costs about $85 or more. Big End makes one that is identical and it costs less than $60. I used the Big End for all my springs. For the ones under the cowl, you have to assemble it after it's on the rocker stud. It is much nicer to use than the screw type compressors, and handles double springs nicely.

Turn motor to TDC,use your air fitting int he spark plug hole to hol the valve up then..Pull the rocker off then Just put it on the spring you want to remove, use one of the stock nuts "or a nut that fits on the rocker stud" and tighten it down. That will compress the valve spring and you can use a magnet to pull the keepers out..i had to use a flatblade screwdriver on a few of them to pry the retainer a lil to get both keepers out..But it took me way less then 1 hour to do all the springs with this tool..

Again the drawing is very crude i did it in MSpaint..I think i might keep my day job and not become an artist,..lol..

I used a screw type one I rented at AutoZone. No problems, although it didn't seat on the retainer as well as I would have liked. I was careful with it though
