what type of scan tool abd/or connector
what type of scan tool abd/or connector
I have a 95 T/A and was told I need a OBD 1 scanner w/a OBD 11 type connector. Is this true? Any" cheep" scanners($30 or $40) don't have cables to connect to my 12 pin . I need to diagnose a SES light and don't know what to buy. Any help w/ this will be really appreciated! Larry

Yes, you need an OBD-I scanner with an OBD-II shaped connector cable or you can adapt an OBD-I 12 pin cable like this. Expect to pay in the $150 range for a scanner.
