I got the 11's in the back because they're BADASS! As for the tires, those F1-D3's are excellent from what I've been hearing. You know you get what you pay for, so you have to way your options as far as what kind of driving you'll be doing. If just average driving, with some strip on the weekend, any tire would be fine. I personally would at least go with a Z rated. Thats just me though.

I have Firestone Firehawk SZ50 and love them. They stick great on dry pavement and are EXCELLENT in the rain. You can drag race in the rain if you want to.

Not with those 315's. Contrary to popular belief all this rubber just floats more in the rain.

I liked the F1-D3's on other cars I've driven, and I'm putting them on my own car when the time comes. I've also heard good stories about the firehawks as well. personally, I'd go with the same tire all around, just cause I'm picky about that kinda stuff. (unless you're talking about meaty slicks in the rear!) anyways, like the saying goes..."The tires are the only part of the vehicle that touches the road." all it takes is one accident to make the $100 you'd save by getting cheap tires seem miniscule!

I have 17X11 zr1's and I bought the sumimoto HTR Z tires. They are around $150 a pop, and I've had them on for around 2 days and they have good traction and are good in the rain. To compare, I've also owned the goodyear GSC's and potenza RE730's, and I like the sumimotos over both of them.

1. They grip just as good
2. Have wet traction
3. Alot cheaper (I'm tired of spending over $1000 for tires)
4. For street use, I really don't need the best of the best, thats what the slicks are for.

I believe it was a crack on your capitilization skills.

But I'm not getting involved.
