I'm getting some 17x9.5 rims. Getting rid of mine 17x8 eagles( yes I did run 275 or 285 on these i know thats bad) I think the new wheels will handle much better, but do i get 275 or 285, 285 should be fine. But do you think I will gain any handling having a bigger footprint??

I think im going to try the new prielli nero tires or sz50 firestones from tire track

If you are gonna spend the money in new tires, get some DR either nittos or bfs. Cant go wrong with either one.

i ran 285s for a couple years on 9.5" rims with no problems. it would rub on the front fender well just like a feather on a hard u-turn. but nothing bad at all. not bad enough to damage the car or the tire. i loved the way my car handled with those tires but i hated when you hit a pot-hole or a rough road. good luck.

"DR either nittos or bfs"

I would, but I do hook pretty good with my auto on the street. And its a daily driver, I want some normal tires lol. The sz50's i hear good things but the pirelis are like 100 cheaper a set of four.
