What is this thing attached to the AIR pump?
We are installing some LTs on a friends 96 WS6, and there is some sort of solenoid attached to the AIR pump? It also has a vacuum type line from it to one of the rubber hoses off the air pump.

What is this?

It's probably the fix for the mandatory recall relating to smog pump/check valve failures.

I can snap a pic tomorrow. so basically its probably smog/obd2 related right? Cause I dont have anything like that on my obd1 95 car.
