What springs? (bolt on only car with 1.6s)

what do you think, looking for the most cost effective route here

couldnt you run like a lt4 hotcam springs?

If you just want a nice cheap upgrade the lt4 hotcam springs should be good, i believe they are 100lbs whereas stock is around 80 (like 90% sure), just don't ever run any cam bigger than the hotcam with those springs they are maxed out at .525 lift.
hotcam springs is a common upgrade on a stock motor.

where can i get hot cam springs? anyone have any for sale?

The GM PN is 12495494 and they list for $42. If you have a connection you can
get them for about $32 from the dealer.
