The cam I am going to be installing has lift of .503/.510...with 1.6 roller rockers, how much max lift will the springs need to have with this cam?? Will a max lift of .575 work??

 

You will be safe with a lift of .550 and have more than enough spring withg a .575 i will call up cmotorsports and get a set of springs from them they can point you in the right direction

 

.503/.510 lift with 1.5 rockers will be .537/.544 with 1.6 rockers
Take .503, divide by 1.5 then multiply by 1.6.

 

thank you for the help...I figured that out after I posted..o well...thanks once again! The springs I am going to get are the Manley Performance Vavle Springs with .575 lift. Thunder racing part # 131-221423-16.
