What spark plugs to use with MSD?

I have heard that you are supposed to use steel plugs with a MSD box because it will give you a better spark. Does anyone know where I can get AC Delco steel plugs? I've only seen platinums around, and they are $6 each. I'll be damned if I'll spend $50 on plugs alone. Who has had good results with what plugs and MSD boxes?

I use steel splitfires with my box.
I phoned MSD when I installed it becuase I wanted to change the plugs at the same time.
They recommended not going with the platinums because of the lower melting temp of the metal.......
I guess it comes down to that the 6A box is supposed to help prevent plug fouling and if you use platinum they can't garentee the same thing........
I saw a little bit better fuel economy and throttle response with my box - also the car starts up with a flick of the key - no chugging at all.
