What sized injectors would work for my set-up ??

I'll make it short and sweet. I'm in the process of tearing down my LT1 and building up a 396. My goal is to make 500 HP (flywheel). Later add a fogger system which would add an additional 250 just for the hell of it.

What sized fuel injector's would you reccomend for my 500 horse goal?? I've tried variouse different "calculators" on line but have gotton answers rangeing from 30lb all the way to 42lb.

Also, what brand should I get? SLP/Bosh? SVO? MSD? Where's the best place to order them from and should I spend the extra $$ for the "flow-test" set over the standard set?

Thanks.

30# injectors would probably work, but I'd go with a set of 37# injectors from Racetronix. That would allow you to make 500+hp and still be at 80% duty cycle. It would also allow you to make some additional hp later on and still not run out of injector.

Cool. Thanks. Where can I find these injectors from? I've never heard of Racetronix before. How much for a set?

I checked them out and the price for the 37lbs injectors seems alright but then I read that you can only get them using PAYPAL. I can't stand PAYPAL and I swore I'd NEVER use it again (too many bad experiences with 'em)

Any other place I can get similar injectors from- preferbly a place I can use my Credit Card?

Yeah, I don't trust paypal either. I like LS1 Speed as well:
