What size tap is needed to chase the threads for head bolts

Me and my buddy are going to replace the heads on on his Z28 soon and I need to know what size tap is needed to chase the threads.

Thanks in advance

Try here. http://www.small-block-chevy.com/assemblyspec.html

Use a thread chaser instead of a tap.

So I need a 7/16 - 14 thread chaser? Thanks for the link!

You'll need a 1/2" drive torque wrench.
